These terms govern a school's use of the Telliepact Global School Vahan platform, its mobile applications and any associated tracking hardware. By onboarding buses, staff or students onto the platform, the school accepts these terms on behalf of its transport operations.

01Scope of the service
School Vahan provides school transport management and student-safety visibility: live bus tracking, route and stop management, student transport records, boarding and drop attendance, parent notifications, ETA information, safety alerts and a compliance centre. Optional modules such as RFID, CCTV, door sensors and temperature sensors are provided only where explicitly agreed in the school's order.
02School responsibilities
The school is responsible for the accuracy of the data it enters — students, parents, stops, timings, staff assignments and vehicle records — and for keeping login credentials confidential. The school remains responsible for the operation of its transport service, for its drivers and attendants, and for compliance with the transport regulations applicable to its vehicles.
03Accounts and access
Accounts are issued per role: school administrator, driver, attendant and parent. Access is limited to the data relevant to that role — a parent can view only their own child's bus and journey. The school is responsible for requesting the removal of access when a staff member, student or parent leaves.
04Hardware and installation
Where School Vahan supplies tracking or safety hardware, it remains subject to the fitment, certification and connectivity requirements applicable to the vehicle category. The school must allow reasonable access to vehicles for installation, inspection and servicing, and must not tamper with, relocate or disconnect installed devices.
05Accuracy of location and ETA
Location, route progress and estimated arrival information depend on GPS availability, mobile network coverage, traffic and device condition. ETA is an estimate provided for planning convenience, not a guarantee of arrival time, and should not be the sole basis for a decision about a child's safety.
06Alerts and emergency features
Overspeed, route-deviation and emergency alerts operate against thresholds and approved routes configured by the school. School Vahan surfaces these events to the school's transport team; it does not act as an emergency response service and does not replace the school's own escalation procedure or contact with emergency services.
07Service availability and support
We aim to keep the platform continuously available and will give reasonable notice of planned maintenance. Support is available on working days via the contact details published on this site. Service may be interrupted by factors outside our control, including network outages and third-party hardware failure.
08Fees, pilot and term
Fees, the number of vehicles covered and the term are set out in the school's order or pilot agreement. A pilot typically covers three to five buses for an agreed period, after which either party may choose not to proceed. Charges already incurred for fitted hardware and connectivity remain payable.
09Intellectual property
The platform, its applications, design and documentation remain the property of Telliepact Global. The school retains ownership of its own operational data. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the platform to the school or its users.
10Limitation of liability
School Vahan is a visibility and record-keeping platform. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the affected period and excludes indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11Suspension and termination
Either party may terminate on written notice as set out in the order. On termination we will make the school's transport records available for export for a reasonable period before deletion, and arrange the return or de-activation of supplied hardware.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the platform or in applicable regulation. Material changes will be notified to the school administrator, and continued use of the platform after the notified date constitutes acceptance.
